I shouldn’t have to live in a society where a bag of crisps (made up of at best one quarter of a potato) set me back more than one great british pound, how did we get here

One thing about me is I will go to painstaking lengths to cook roast potatoes so crispy they could knock a child spark out if thrown from a short distance, then refuse to eat them until they have been marinating in gravy at the side of my plate for the duration of my meal

These first few sunny days in February are so precious, can feel my brain defrosting and strapping in to experience joy again
