like i love this idea - using local materials, using nature as an example and trying a new color palette. it’s amazing how much you can take a big concept and put it into such a tiny concept.

hello! i want my next series to be called based off of “whatcom falls” it’s a beautiful landmark in the town i live in. i could gather real moss, lichen and stones. dry it out and use it in my work. 💧 🪨 🌱

honestly? i LOVE food wars. that food makes me feel alive 🍱 🍙

every time i am panicking in life i get really depressed and then i say idk wtf i’m doing and then eventually hit rock bottom emotionally to then do something random that launches me into change.

well, i joined an artist guild this morning 😊 hopefully an in person art community will help me feel more motivated or inspired. i must say, i am very excited!

but the actual creation process? i’m not sure if i really enjoyed it. parts of it, sure. definitely the outcome. i loved collabs, i loved product photography (when it turned out good) and i loved themed.

but i want to do something that brings me joy during the process -

i think what kept me doing soul pendants for so long was all of the serendipitous happenings, personal connections and over all feeling like i was doing something worthwhile. i want that again. but just something different and i don’t know what that is.

i want to do art again but the thought of trying to appease an algorithm makes me want to fucking vomit
