Pro-choice folks in NYC are counter-protesting a rally by anti-choice theocrats in Foley Square. NYPD has the area heavily barricaded with pro-choice folks on one side & theocrats on the other. So far, it looks like pro-choice side is outnumbering the anti-choice theocrats.

Anti-choice theocrats in NYC are having a rally in Foley Square. Pro-choice folks are counter-protesting by playing music & chanting. NYPD Strategic Response Group (SRG) attacked pro-choice folks for “interfering with a permitted event.” Cops are arresting people w/ instruments.

It’s wrong that in NY families cannot seek damages for the emotional pain and suffering caused by the wrongful death of a loved one. The NYS Senate Democrats are fighting to ensure that our law to change that, Grieving Families Act, makes it into the state budget this year.

Governor Kathy Hochul #grievingfamiliesact nova shouldn’t be looking at her mom in that picture if you would’ve did the right thing last January, 2023 doctors would’ve not been reckless with Christine field it’s time for you to do the right thing. This bill is past due.

That means lives wrongfully taken only have the value of the lost paychecks under NY law.
