One think you need to prepare for when doing documentation-driven-development is writing one paragraph of docs, then spending the next day fixing all the edge cases you thought of by writing that one paragraph.

It's great 😁

One of the benefits of tempest/highlight: I can easily add new project-based languages to solve specific highlighting problems, like for example terminal output in web docs 🤩

33 yes, 1 no.

I think it's safe to say we're getting property hooks in 8.4!

This also means I'll have to rewrite most of Tempest before the end of the year 😅

I've just replaced Shiki (ran each time the page is displayed on the browser) vs Brent's Tempest Highlight (PHP + thephpleague/commonmark, then cached by Cloudflare), I'm really happy with the performance improvements :D

Before/after, in WebPageTest and PageSpeed Insighits

A naming problem: technically the English plural of 'alias' is 'aliases', which I find to sound weird. In Latin, 'alias' is already the plural.

What should I call a property that contains an array of aliases/alias?

This is nice: Mario Deluna wrote a 'Code Snippet Animated GIF Generator' with tempest/highlight 🤩
