I love the location of where I work. It takes me under ten mintues to drive there and I go right by the bank, grocery and liquor store. Not that I drink or anything but sometimes when you want to grab a bottle of wine, it's nice and close. Had BLT's again tonight. Excellent! πŸ«—

I want to again wish Shania Twain πŸ’ŽπŸ’ŽπŸ’Ž a happy 60th and "still the one" is playing now so great timing. When I moved away from Timmins in 1966, she was just a toddler so we never met but that snowy picture is from our hometown, thus I know a bit of what she went through. Brrr. .πŸ€£πŸŽ‚

Is there a perfect tune to kick off a long weekend? There definitely might be one but we'll have to go back to the late 90's to get it. And is there a perfect tune to say "crank it up?" Yup. This one from the New Radicals, "live." Enjoy! πŸ‘πŸ‘ŒπŸŽΆπŸŽ΅πŸ˜Š youtu.be/WIyJ9gl16No?fe…

I've always loved Bose and some days (like today) I won't even turn my big systen on but just listen through my Bose "Wave" system. Like my 10.2 tower speakers, it uses a patented system to deliver a big sound and for its size, packs a mean punch. It better, they are not cheap.

I put one of my basses in the storage room for a bit but I'll be damned if I could find that thing in there. After a second look I found it, but it reminded me of "Alien" when Lambert said "Dallas, are you sure it's not there? It has to be there. Dallas?" The Alien found him. 🀣

There's nothing like rolling your own tunes and hearing three Billboard #1 hits in a row is very nice. Barry White, "Can't get enough," Cher with "Dark Lady" and Boston's "Amanda" all held down the top spot and I know if l the neighbors are tuned in, they're loving it. 🎢❀️

youtube.com/shorts/0bP8Sy3…. This song by the band "Breathe" is playing now and it reminds of being in Thunder Bay in 1988. I was out of work and one day got a call from the boss of one of the radio stations. He says "I need an afternoon DJ immediately, want it?" Me..."Duh." 🀣

Well that was a very successful day today as I got a problem with my aquarium fixed. The left overhead canopy light failed and it turned to be something else which is good because those things are not cheap. Anyway, all fixed and with supper served, they are very happy. πŸ˜‹

I never get tired of Joan Jett's "I hate myself for loving you" and it just got a nice crank here. I'll bet Amy would like this set. πŸŽΆπŸ‘πŸŽ΅πŸŽΈ

This is playing now and it's been far too long since I've heard Rita Coolidge sing "higher and higher." πŸŽ΅πŸ‘ youtu.be/QmdZgmFh32U?fe…

The song "Green Eyed Lady" by Sugerloaf just played and at the Emerson, Lake & Palmer show in 1971, the opening act "Truck" covered that song really well. But people were glad when they finished because the main event of the evening was ready and ELP tore the roof right off. πŸŽΉπŸ‘Œ

On the September long weekend in 1984, my long-time friends / roommates, Ross and Ron were in my boat on a beautiful fall day. Our other roomie, Tami, couldn't make it which was too bad as Ron landed that big Northen Pike. When I think back to great adventures, that was one. πŸ‘

Just waiting to start my shift and on comes a one-time Billboard #1 hit from 1985 called "Separate Lives." Phil Collins and Marilyn Martin in one of the greatest love songs ever. And thanks again for the autograph, Marilyn. You're the best. πŸŽ΅β€οΈπŸ‘

This is my co-worker, Cindy, and today is her birthday so - because she loves garlic sausage - she got two rings and an "I am the sausage Queen" t-shirt. Gotta take care of your peeps. That's what I say. πŸ‘πŸ€”

If I can, I always try to buy local. Companies need all the help they can get and when one of my aquarium lamps went, I managed to get one here but noone else had any. Well, you can always count on Amazon and the new light is coming this afternoon. The fish will love it, I know.
