Things we learned today. The apparent “Big Boat “ I Am Maximus, wins the GN to add to his Irish GN. David Maxwell, was justified in buying a horse to ride in the GN, finishing 6th. There were no fallers in the GN. 4 unseated riders. WPM could easily be Champion trainer in UK .🏆

Brilliant to see David Maxwell maintain the long tradition of true Corinthians in the Grand National with a spirited ride into sixth place in his own colours on Ain’t That A Shame. He will be buzzing for weeks.

To all the David Maxwell moaners & bashers - hang your heads and slink over to the dark corner for a little while. What a great ride he had, and what a super ride he gave. Congratulations to him.

- I am Maximus is a worthy favourite but short odds.
Noble Yeats and Galia De Liteau are both good value outsiders at 28-1

I've no idea why Racing TV decided to make changes to their website. It worked fine, there was no need. Watching replays now especially is just a rank bad experience.

Sir Gino jumped like a snooker table and still wins. Impressive.
