Welcome to Book Burner Twitter profile! Our debut game is currently in development. It’s an RPG with tactical combat set in an original world. Here we will share some details and behind the scenes content, and we hope it’s going to be just as intriguing for you as it is for us.

While prototyping the basics of our combat system, we've ripped several board games apart. Can you guess them all?

After nights of table top perversions, we're working on a toolset for in-engine combat prototyping.

Quick fact: Tchaikovsky's "Iolanta" was actually a turn-based RPG.

What's that? 1980s vibe? Oh yes.

Even a seemingly useless broken ugly guitar can be very helpful in creating memorable sound effects. Don't underestimate the power of those rusty strings.

Today we have assembled the first playable build of our debut game. It's clunky, unstable, very schematic, and it's mostly a polygon for testing the camera. But it's finally alive. Yay!

This is our first public concept art. "My dog will reach the fence in two turns. How 'bout you, pal?"

And now, some music. Check out this in-game tune. It's an early concept made with stock Logic Pro instruments and a Les Paul guitar. The big plan is to record every track live when we get insanely rich.

While most of the time our team works remotely, we still cherish every rare chance to meet in person and put our ideas through some old school tests.

Imaginary Benny Hill music playing in the background as we gather for another round of table-top prototyping. Very powerful – and also cheap – tool to quickly check if your ideas are as good as they seem for a tactical video game.
