It's a warm and muggy morning across the Tampa Bay area. This afternoon, highs will be in the upper 80s to mid 90s. It's cooler at the coast with the sea breeze today.

With a ridge of high pressure building over Florida, the next couple days will be the hottest we've seen this year so far with some inland areas reaching the mid-90s. #FLwx

Tuesday will be mainly quiet around Tampa Bay with only a 10 percent coverage of isolated t'storms late in the day. #FLwx

Once again, chances for afternoon/evening pop-up storms are isolated and primarily focused inland for today.

Over 2 inches of rain has fallen along the sea breeze collision in Eastern Citrus, Eastern Hernando and Eastern Hillsborough Counties this Sunday evening. Localized flooding is possible. Diane Kacmarik
