Patrick is absolutely right.

It didn't need to end like this, we had a pro-indy progressive majority under Humza but he alone decided to destroy that.

At best, a - very poorly executed - gamble that failed. At worst, an FM who just assumed the Greens would fall in line regardless, likely fueled by a belief in the narrative they're only in parliament as a result of lovely SNP voters being nice & generous with list votes.

Firstly I wanted to address my Drive Time appearance.
I am upset after the last few days, overly tired and care deeply about everything we are doing and my colleagues. That came across last night and I'm not sorry for that.

It’s been a tumultuous week in Scottish politics but I’m immensely proud of the work my colleagues in this party do, in Holyrood, in council chambers, and as volunteers in branches the length of the country. We’ll keep working for people and planet - join us and get stuck in?!

Humza Yousaf has chosen to rely on social conservatives and the right wing of his party to run a minority government.

Humza Yousaf could have kept a progressive government which took tackling poverty & the climate crisis seriously.

Instead he chose to side with Fergus Ewing & Kate Forbes. Now only the Greens offer truly radical change.
