yes a 'mad' combination. Either someone will be teaching out of field or possibly there is one person in the country who has this combination and is working in the school already.

Not scapegoats Alan as I have no reason to seek any. The reality is the out of field tradition was very common in the voluntary sector and not elsewhere for reasons you understand I'm sure. Hopefully, we can agree, however, that it needs to be tackled.
