This is why I can’t leave Skid Row. I wasn’t even going to this spot yesterday but spirit told me to go. Pulled up…Danny, David, Mercedes and Michael were there waiting on us.

It is such a joy to serve the homeless community of San Diego. They are so pleasant ❤️🙏🏾✊🏿 we missed them and promise to show up more.

David is deaf and helps Danny who is special needs. Danny had a seizure and broke his arm 🙏🏾. King was arguing w/ David who had no clue as his back was turned. We got them out of there.

Even w/ financial challenges we continue to go to Skid Row. Tuesday I had a honey bun thrown at my head (blow landed) and a screw driver pulled on me. I stayed in order to find Michael and give him that msg then we left!!!!

I try and create an order that puts kids and those necessary first while respecting the street rules of Skid Row. I keep my eyes on everything while trying to keep myself safe.

Thanks to ur donations we were able to bless mom with $100 for little Julieta’s bday last week. She showed us the pictures yesterday.
I know my Spanish is off when I’m trying to talk about the casa, but I tried 😩😩

Little Julieta didn’t show up yesterday so James took me to where they live and I met their community. I’m trying not to scare her with my excitement 😂😩

Pulled up to Skid Row yesterday…Mercedes 😂😂 be having so much to tell me. I be trying to set up and listen to her at the same time lol. Yesterday was challenging, but Mercedes is always a joy.

Saturday service in Sacramento. The sun was out and the BBQ was on deck! Thx u volunteers.

We also drove around Sacramento passing out plates of food yesterday. King said it’s been 3 days since he’s eaten. We were able to feed 150 people. Thx u Chef Monae.

I don’t just feed the Homeless. I try to show up, be consistent and make sure we meet their needs and wants.

Saw this family in Sacramento, pulled over to see if they wanted food. They follow us on TikTok & were stuck 2hours on freeway with a broken down car until police dropped them here. Ur donations helped us get them an Uber back to their shelter 🙏🏾❤️✊🏿
