DRESSING-UP ALERT SUNDAY 21 APRIL!!!!!!!
On Sunday it's 10 years since junior parkrun launched in Scotland. 🔟 We're going to follow the lead of Helix junior parkrun (who were the first) and ask you all to wear tartan or anything Scottish. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Unfortunately due to flooding concerns in the park and high winds tomorrow morning during the time of our run we will be cancelled.

Thank you to all of our volunteers who were at the ready this week and we hope to see you all next Sunday !

Sorry to say we'll be off tomorrow morning ! Having completed a course check this evening the paths are extremely slippy all the way around the park with ice stretching the full distance across the path in some of our usual puddle spots.

Parkrun is ON… no rain or wind!! Perfect crisp weather! Come on down….

Tomorrow (31st December) will be our last ever parkrun for 2023! We have snow at the moment, however, that is set to hopefully clear and potentially have a nice dry day tomorrow. I will be doing a course check tomorrow at 08:30am and will post on this page.

Before we get fully into festivities Greenock Glenpark Harriers announce our 'Lyle Mile' uphill for a Mile 1st January 2024 at 11am.
All our scottishathletics friends if you fancy this challenge you'll be made most welcome, hospitality afterwards 😉

Due to the weather conditions we're not sure if Battery Park Junior Parkrun will be on tomorrow - Sunday 3rd December.
One of our awesome RD’s Fiona is going to check it out when she is up & about early tomorrow ☺️ We'll post by 8am tomorrow morning so watch this space 🥰
