Omnishambles first used in BBC political satire The Thick of It in 2009. It refers to a situation seen as shambolic from all possible perspectives. In 2012 'omnishambles' was Oxford English Dictionary Word of the Year and now Justice Lee has popularised it via #Lehrmann trial.

#BruceLehrmann has been totally smashed. He was indifferent to Brittany Higgins' consent and just went ahead willy-nilly as he was so intent on his own gratification. 'He did not care one way or another' about her consent, said Justice Lee.
