It was also a great week for R-G lab alumna Alejandra Gonzalez (also a winter 2023 UGA alum). Alejandra received a 2024 Presidential Award of Excellence, which is one of UGA's highest student honors. We are so proud of you, Alejandra!

We have more rays of praise, this time for Taylor Medlock-Lanier for her Outstanding TA award, from UGA CTL. She was recognized for her work TAing Anatomy and Physiology in the Cellular Biology Department. Congratulations, Taylor!

Many congrats to Skylar Settles (Skylar Settles), R-G lab member and UGA Genetics Ph.D. student, who passed her qualifying exam today! She did a fantastic job presenting her project and answering committee questions. Yay for you! #WormSquad
