Artesian Springs are bouncing back thanks to National Landcare, local landholders and Desert Channel Group. There has been a remarkable increase in species, up from 20 to 106 species, in just 3 years, including 4 conservation listed and 2 possible new species. fal.cn/3wkPo

Interesting fact – Red-tails climb down backwards into the box, using the metal ladder. They like to nest high up in big trees, so the boxes have been installed about 8m off the ground. 25 new nest boxes have been installed in the Wimmera bringing the total to 61. @WimmeraCMA
