I stepped off a 102 bus on North Avenue this evening and I was immediately struck by the beautiful variation in bricks on this apartment building. Details you get to stop and enjoy when you're a pedestrian.

Kudos to MARTA for getting this Airport Station construction completed on time. The station reopens Monday.

I hope the new flooring on the train platform has more grip to it. The previous tiles were too slick, especially when they got damp from weather.

We visited the newly-designed 54 Columns Park this evening, at the Glen Iris Drive & Highland Avenue. It looks great! This was previously an art installation in an unkept lot. Now it's an attractive space for hanging out. Well done, all involved.

I assume this is the kind of thing that the 'I'm not against transit but I don't want light-rail' crowd wants on the Atlanta Beltline instead of trains. Ridiculous little pods creeping along. I don't understand people.
