Honoring a Trailblazer🌟

This week, a plaque on the South West tower of the Tyne Bridge was installed to commemorate Dorothy Buchanan, a true pioneer!

A key member of the Tyne bridge's design team and the first female member of the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE).
