In 2022, I presented a paper and explained how Turner's 𝘙𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘰𝘯 𝘢 𝘉𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩 reminded me of Shelley & Byron on the Lido.
Later on I persuaded Luis Castellví to put that image on the cover of the first-ever translation into Spanish of 𝘑𝘶𝘭𝘪𝘢𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘔𝘢𝘥𝘥𝘢𝘭𝘰.

My article - Thomas Medwin’s Indian Journal and Shelley’s ‘visioned wanderings’ - examines the creative exchange between Shelley and Medwin between 1819 and 1821, focusing on their Indian influences and intertextual engagement during this period.

Honoured to be part of this special issue of Romanticism with Shelleyans that I so admire. Huge thanks to Dr Amanda Blake Davis (abdavis.bsky.social) and Dr Anna Mercer for their expert editing and for making this issue possible. It was a joy to contribute to this brilliant collection of essays.

Here’s a recent effort of mine: ‘The Draper’s Assistant and Mary Shelley’s Lost Journal’ - all about a young man & aspiring poet who saw the Shelleys plain, a lost memoir (transcribed in full & included) & that lost journal: euppublishing.com/doi/abs/10.336…
