Day 3: Even Dracula and the Cowboy statues at The Big Texan steakhouse in Amarillo, Texas are wearing masks. Every staff member is wearing a mask. They are taking it seriously. The full story will come in a few weeks in the article. I'll keep you posted.

Day 4. Today I interviewed an elderly man who said black people aren't really black because their white master slave owners had sex w/ their slaves. He said black people have white in them whether they like it or not. He wants them to drop the racism thing already. Unreal.

Starbucks in Ohio. 75% customers not wearing masks, no social distancing, teen girl said, "I'm sick of Starbucks people not smiling. Let's get happy, people!" Not taking #COVID19 very seriously here. At least the staff all had masks.

Gas station in Missouri. 1 person out of 24 wearing a mask, even those inside the store, including the worker. They all looked at me like I'm crazy. Concern over #COVID19 does not live here. Sorry, as I typed this, another person with a mask showed up. Still, 2 out of 25? Really?
