Pre-season holidays happen to be our jam with my lovely wife, so after Malta and the 'Balcan' trip of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Montenegro, this May, it's time for the island of Sardinia. Is Sardina pilchardus good in Sardinia? Hungarians call sardines szardínia.

Mazda Corporation is restoring the RX-EVOLV concept, which was first shown at the Tokyo Motor Show in 1999. The rotary concept that previewed the RX-8, will again be on public display in Japan this month.

Some say 87,875, others say 98,000 were made between 1959 and '61. You can find them in Japan and America fairly cheaply, but in Europe, the Canon P is rare, and I've been lusting after one for years. Now, a good vendor had this in Budapest, I bite the bullet, so #745620 is mine.

What's great about the Canon P rangefinder's manual is that CanonUSA certainly used a prototype, given that the 1959-61 Populaire serial numbers range from 700000 to 798000. Given that, 615207 would be rather precious today.

I drove this car briefly and I still can't believe it couldn't make it. Great idea, smart engineering, and I guess a weak business plan.

I love his concepts just as much as the production cars. RIP, the one and only. roadandtrack.com/car-culture/a4…
