This is not new info: everyone knew there was no space to house 17 year olds in adult jails in Louisiana, but the legislature shoved the bill through during a short special session this year anyway.

The Arizona House failed to pass a bill that would have allowed individuals who sell fentanyl to a person who later OD's and dies to be charged with drug trafficking homicide (mand min 10 years in prison). Similar iterations of this bill have failed the past few sessions as well.
