On the last day of Pride Month, an extremist and unelected SCOTUS uses a made-up case to hand out a “constitutional' right to discriminate against LGBTQ people.

What an embarrassment for our country.

It is not just the rulings the Roberts Court is making. They created out of hole cloth a bogus, major questions doctrine. They made a mockery of standing. They rewrite laws to fit their radical ideological preferences. They have unilaterally blown up the legitimacy of the Court

Freedom isn’t using the First Amendment as a license to slam the door on LGBTQ+ customers.  

Freedom is the ability to live and love openly without fearing discrimination.  

We’ll always stand up for freedom and equality because it’s never been about a cake or a website.

I need folks who are not LGBTQ to understand that today's ruling is not just about a website. It is a clear sign that Obergefell (same sex marriage) and Bostock (LGBTQ employment protections) are in danger of being overturned. This is a devastating ruling. Please understand that.

If you are a LGBTQ+ youth and acceptance is not something you find at home, remember that home can be the future. It can be the people you haven't met yet who will love you as you are. Happy Pride 🏳️‍🌈
