Been involved in some fascinating occasions in football over years. Today was certainly unique as Army FA hosted Nepal national team in Aldershot - 0-0 draw. Great to see faces of joy as Gurkha Brigade soldiers met heroes after match. Proud of our Army team/management too.

Tonight was Aldershot DFA Senior Cup semi final time at Hartley Wintney FC as Badshot Lea FC were 2-1 victors to reach final which will be staged on Tuesday 7 May v fellow The Pitching In Isthmian League Westfield FC It will be the first of five cup finals our organisation will be staging at Aldershot Town FC

A day of Thanksgiving for the life of Alex McGregor. My all time football hero. An Aldershot icon. But more importantly a charming, kind, considerate human being who touched the hearts of so many and was so obviously loved and cherished by his family. A good man.

50 years ago today - my first visit to the Rec to watch Aldershot. 6-0 win v Cambridge U in Div 3 in front of 5074 fans. Jack Howarth scored 3 of his 196 goals for club. A lifetime of memories. I’ll settle for 1-0 @officialshots “don’t care how”win today. Up the Shots 🔴🔵👍
