On this day 1970, The Beatles started a two week run at No.1 on the singles chart with ‘Let It Be’. It became the group’s 19th No.1 in 6 years. I was there then... it was one culmination of so much serendipity that landed me there. There are so many stories....

From this day in rock: 1968, The Who play the Civic Auditorium in San Jose, California. Sagittarius and Blue Cheer open. I was srtill in SF hadn't gone to London and taking my very first photos. Here is Blue Cheer in the Haight Ashbury. A lot was n front of me, I had no idea.
