I joined CNN today to talk about the student protests across the country for Gaza. The bravery and commitment of these young people is the most promising sign for a better future for American foreign policy, where human rights mean something, & where Palestinian lives matter.

This is all happening right now. Not in a hypothetical future under Donald Trump. Right now.

1) Targeting the poorest people in our society for things like debt collection, driving on suspended licenses due to debts, drug possession, trespassing, mental illness, etc. This kind of stuff is mostly what armed cops currently do.

THREAD. Last night, the White House quietly sent out a press release notifying reporters that Biden would be seeking $37 billion for, among other things, 100,000 new cops. This is one of the most dangerous developments imaginable.

Earlier today GW instructed staff to hang this giant American flag behind the encampment. This is how the encampment responded. These young people are awe inspiring. A historic image.

If Germany and the rest of Europe are so confident that Israel has done no wrong, then why are they so afraid of a doctor describing what he saw in Gaza?

It was really important that the university not be disrupted.

That’s why we arrested sleeping students, locked everyone out of all the buildings with no notice, and blockaded the doors with riot cops. Now the university is at peace.

Eric Adams’ goon squad found an academic text by noted British historian Charles Townshend of Oxford University. Clearly a weapon of war justifying a military style tactic raid.

Julian Assange is still not free after 5 years and 23 days of political imprisonment in HMP Belmarsh, following 6 years, 9 months and 23 days of arbitrary detention in the Ecuadorian embassy (see United Nations WGAD Opinion No. 54/2015).

This doctor saved countess lives. We spoke to him from his hospitals inside Gaza day after day late last year. He was banned from entering Germany in April. Now France too.
