More of this GOP rhetorical trick. Trump didn’t just refuse to accept the legitimacy of the election, he tried to actually steal it himself. The rhetoric tries to convince you that “Trump is just doing what Hillary did.” It’s all about deflection.

Hannity’s rhetorical trick (and the GOP’s) is to put the emphasis on “claims the election was stolen.” That’s creating a false equivalence. Trump didn’t just “claim the election was stolen”, he actually tried to steal it himself.
