At @computerweekly, we used to wonder whether the Post Office PR team actually believed what they were telling us, no matter the evidence to the contrary. Today's #PostOfficeInquiry evidence proves that yes, they absolutely did!

GDS was specifically told not to go near the Post Office, official reason being because it was an arm's length body - in 2011 UKgov was still talking about mutualising POL
