An execution wall between Block 10 (left) and Block 11 (right) which was built from special cement & sawdust insulation plaques to catch bullets, was dismantled. The sand from beneath the wall was removed, as it was soaked with blood to a depth of two yards.

The possessions you see here were discovered in 'Kanada' barracks after the liberation. When you look closer, they seem very simple, basic even. But by the time people arrived at this is what they had been reduced to.

They’re the last fragments of whole existences.
