Today will be the end of an era. Braeden Sladek’s last ever high school round of golf. Nobody has worked harder. He raised an already very high bar for Alexandria golf. Never once did I hear him make an excuse. He always owned it. Never a complaint. Will miss coaching him!

This comes just a few days after shooting a course record 63 from the black tees at Geneva GC. He’s on a heater!

The youngster decided to get after one!

Day 2 Troy Burne thru 10 holes for most of the guys. Playing extremely tough in this wind but the boys are hangin in there. Ryan Conn

Day two at Troy Burne was playing tough! Holtz’s 72 is low round of the day and good for a 2nd place finish. Team finished 2nd as well. Off to Dacotah ridge this weekend!

Lakeville South invite at Dacotah Ridge: Will Thornburg plays his last 7 holes in 6 under to shoot -5 67. Holtz is in 2nd with 70, 3 shots back. Cardinal boys are in the lead with a 293, 2 shots ahead of 2nd place Edina. Back at it tomorrow for the final 18.

After a tournament low 68 yesterday Holtzy is off to another hot start birdying his first two at Eagle Creek.

A great day at Eagle Creek in Willmar. The team shot -5 283. Unfortunately there were a couple groups that accidentally teed off from incorrect tees on one of the holes so we had to DQ 2 of our boys. School record of -3 still in tact but the boys are playing some great golf!

Sections Day 1: Firm greens and wind made it extremely tough today but Gabe Weller was able to card the only under par round with 71! Here is his final hole of the day making a ✌️ on the par 3. Alexandria leads by 16 heading to day 2.

Weller shoots 71-73 to win the individual section title and leads the team to it’s 7th section title in a row. Let’s go!

Day 1 AAA state tournament at Bunker Hills. Senior Bennett Olsen makes a ✌️on his 12th hole and gets to -1 on the day.
