Y-D is pleased to welcome back Craig Gianinno as assistant coach for a 2nd season with the Red Sox. Craig was the head coach at Junipero Serra High School where he posted a .689 winning percentage. He was a member of the Bellevue University (NE) team that won the CWS in 1995.

This season Y-D is once again fortunate to have as its manager Scott Pickler, who returns to the Red Sox for his 26th season. “Pick” has been at the helm of Y-D since 1998, leading the Sox to six Cape League Championships and six regular season East Division crowns.

Gavin Jones is a redshirt freshman right-handed pitcher from Kent State who will be coming to Y-D this summer. Previously he was the 2nd rated RHP and No. 5 overall prospect in Ohio per Perfect Game USA. This season he has 33 Ks in 28.1 IP. Y-D welcomes him to the Red Sox in 2024
