To wrap up Complementary Therapies Week, we look at sound therapy which, like all of our complementary therapies, is funded by the charity.

Sound therapy uses music, sound and the voice to release tension and express emotions.

This week is Complementary Therapies Week, and today we focus on reiki.

Our patients generally report feelings of peace and enjoy a quiet space in their mind having had reiki therapy. This offer is only available thanks to our charity.

One of which is reflexology, which benefits many patients including Velindre Fundraising Ambassador Rhod Gilbert who recently had treatment here.

It’s Complementary Therapies Week, so here’s a spotlight on another type of therapy we offer thanks to the charity.

Massage helps to increase circulation and loosens areas that are tight or have tension.

As part of Complementary Therapies Week, we’ll explore the different types of therapy we provide, all of which is funded by the charity.

One of these is aromatherapy which can help with symptoms such as headaches, anxiety and nausea.
