JT Realmuto is what I call an “upright thrower” and Austin Hedges bends over more than most.

The point is, some bend over a little, some bend over a lot but they all have some forward flexion during the throwing process.

get it going a little early on pitches that allow it. That pre-catch shift gives you a head start on throwing process & can help decrease your release & pop time.
