I am watching a toddler die on a table in a field hospital in Rafah with half her face blown apart while listening to college students fight tears reporting on a police assault on their campus for protesting that, and I feel like I am losing my fucking mind.

NPR reporting on a meta analysis showing that 'climbing stairs instead of taking the elevator reduces heart attack risk.' Other news coverage is casual too. Went to go check out the assuredly noncausal associations in the paper... They're reporting on a conference abstract!

Over the past few years I've been designing my 🐀studies to increase not only the sample size but also the cage # to address the cluster effect inherent in group housing and it's wild how many 'cage effects' you see. I didnt trust n=5-10 🐀studies b4 but increasingly even less so
