Willie Bloomquist was asked about implementing Bobby Hurley’s strategy of capitalizing on his personal NIL:

“Bobby’s doing innovative things to create that and that’s what we’re going to have to do is put our heads together. It’s how we can solve this equation and be competitive

A reminder that Bloomquist said on Friday the earliest Burns could return would be the Stanford series (May 10-12) but potentially only for one or two innings.

Whether that is still the case seems unclear.

RHP Thomas Burns is starting to “ramp it up,” but his timetable is unknown, according to Willie Bloomquist.
