I fought the law and I WON! After being subjected to a humiliating ordeal in court by my rapist’s defence lawyer, I started the arduous process of submitting a complaint. I had to study the law, compile it all myself, facing off against a team of lawyers… and it’s been upheld!

Incredibly impressive challenge from trial complainant Ellie Wilson after treatment ill-befitting a defence advocate from a member of the profession in Scotland.

To be strong enough to go to the regulator after being subjected to that is brave.

She was plainly right to do so.

he is a sexist and a threat to women. Those who’ve enabled his behaviour should also take a look at themselves.

Today in Court there were two people sat in the public gallery all day.

At the end of the day, the Judge spoke to them about how important public justice was. He then asked them what brought them to the public gallery today.

Their response?

Their TV was broke.

Meanwhile barristers who upskirt, commit sexual assault or upload dodgy indictments are entitled to return to their practice after mere suspensions.
