There is a pattern among those who have outrageous opinions on things, whether politics, religion or even culture. They have poor analytical skills, which stems from a lack of mathematical ability.

“Allah has selected Kinanah from the progeny of Ismaʿil, and He selected Quraysh from Kinanah. From Quraysh, He selected Banu Hashim, and He selected me from Banu Hashim.”

Imagine complaining about godlessness (a valid concern) then in the same breath celebrating the banning of godliness. It’s absurd.

There’s something very satisfying about nerds showing us how they nerd. :)

I’m reading through a pedantic debate among some Christians about whether or not fornication is unlawful. I see this often & it reminds me why it’s important to maintain a familiarity with scripture in its original language.

Muslims don’t have this problem because zina is haram.

🧵 Make Eid Fun!

A ‘full’ month according to hadith is 29 days. The 30th day is a bonus. 30 is not the default, and 29 is not deficient.

How old were you when you had your religious opening?

When I was a child, Ramadan was in winter. This made it much easier for us to fast despite young age.

At 7, I kept around 12 fasts.
From 8 onwards, I kept them all, Alhamdulillah.

I can’t be the only one to notice that the bride’s name is quite literally “Mahr of Women”. 😂😭

To love Allah, you must do two things:

1) Recognise the active role He has in your life.

2) Read and reflect on what the Qurʾan is communicating to you.

Faith need not be blind.

To gain a solid understanding of religion, read the stories of the prophets. Study their lives. That will give you the entire foundation of tawhid and Islam.

This is real wealth. The prophets did not leave behind pounds and dollars. They left us knowledge.
