During the UNICEF Executive Board meeting on UNICEF's Strategy for contributing to Africa’s development agendas, Amb Amb. Ekitela Lokaale expressed support to the Strategy and commended UNICEF for its steadfast support to African countries in accelerating progress for children. He further;
Over 100 agripreneurs have been enrolled in the Engaging Kenyan Youth in Agriculture & Nutrition (EKYAN) programme in Kirinyaga County. Under EKYAN, UNICEF Kenya provides agricultural education & sustainable, climate-smart solutions to young farmers to enhance farming practices.
Representative Shaheen Nilofer is at Kakuma Refugee Camp. She met with Deputy County Commissioner Yusuf Salat to discuss important issues affecting children living in the refugee camp - nutrition, protection, youth skilling and school Internet connectivity.
.Shaheen Nilofer visited the Amusait Hospital Stabilization Centre where UNICEF has provided essential nutritional supplies such as RUTF for children with severe malnutrition. She talked to women and children while they received health and nutrition services at the centre.

Since 2022, UNICEF and DanishRefugeeCouncil have been assisting DhalDhal and siblings. We helped resettle them, while providing psychosocial support and medical care.
