Rolf report 28 Apr: Some people like to go for a run or a bike ride first thing in the morning, to jump-start their day. Me, I like a brisk round of cat pong at 5am on the kitchen floor. Nothing beats it to get the juices flowing. Rolf x

My family wanted to ask: does anyone know the likely reason why this squirrel has no ears? Is this likely to have happened from birth? Is this a common thing amongst squirrels? Any information welcomed. Rolf and family x

Rolf report 27 Apr: Amongst my many new friends who visit my cat chalet on a daily basis is Freddie the ear-less squirrel. Freddie loves the peanuts I leave out for him (and for the other four or so squirrels who drop by regularly). Rolf x

Rolf report 26 Apr: It’s a rare back-to-back outing for waltzes on #RelaxWithRolf . This week it’s Thrills by Irish composer Charles Ancliffe. Not sure about you, but birds generally give me a thrill, of a certain kind. Rolf x

Rolf report 25 Apr: My stylist says that white boxes are better for me to jump into compared with say grey boxes. More contrast with the black fur. Hmm. Rolf x

Seems Leonard the Raven has turned up
Like he does quite often these days

There's always a tasty bread treat
That Rolfs humans have put out today
Although a small Echo intrusion
Did temporarily make Leonard fly away

Rolf report 23 Apr: My new friend Leonard the raven shows up almost every day when I am spending time in my cat chalet. My humans always put some bread out for him. Today the Amazon Echo went off by accident, frightening Leonard slightly. But he recovered just fine. Rolf x

From a student who has cats at home

Rolf report 21 Apr: This is my favourite perch at the uni: hanging out on Dr Claudia’s desk in her office, watching the world go by. All on top of a v comfy blankie Dr Sherry gave me a long time ago. And I get plenty of attention from Dr C along the way. Perfection. Rolf x
