They were requested to launch the #InshoreLifeboat and tasked to assist Police and Local Coastguards with an incident. There will be no further details due to the sensitive nature of the call

23.50 hrs.

The All Weather Lifeboat was launched to assist in the search for a missing person

The person was located by local Coastguards resulting in the Lifeboat being stood down and returning to station at 02.30 hrs.

Due to the rapid rise in covid cases over the past few days my management team and I have decided to close the Eastbourne RNLI shop until the situation improves.
