The best way to sum up Seaver King is athlete. While he didn’t do much at the plate when I saw him, he tried to make things happen with all his tools. The power/speed combination + defensive versatility will have teams calling on day one.

Georgetown catcher Owen Carapellotti ‘24 has been an offensive force today for the Hoyas.

This 3 run home run was followed by two singles in his 2nd and 3rd ABs

Everett Catlett has looked good through three so far. The Georgetown Baseball left handed has given up one hit so far. Stuff today:

Ambushed the first pitch he saw in the first for a 109 MPH 2B, followed up by a 101 MPH HR in the third. Extremely quick hands, more power to pull-side this year.

LP Langevin has one of the most underrated fastballs in the country.

A former JUCO bandit, the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns® Baseball RHP threw five perfect innings in relief, dominating with his heater. 92-95 with explosive life, racking up 14 (!) whiffs. Flashed a CT, SL, and CH. Very fun metrics.

Usual raw power wasn’t on display in these two games against Maryland. Timing seemed off. Chasing too much out of the zone.

Despite his struggles, he was trying to make things happen with his athleticism. Will be a name to watch for 2025.

Wound up getting Alexander Meckley in relief last night, striking out six across his two innings of work.

FB had considerable life upstairs at 91-95 T96, CB at 79-82 with a ton of depth and bite. Has had struggles recently, but still see a solid relief option late on Day 2.
