I welcome & support the statements at #UNSC meeting on AFG asking the Taliban to end their offensive, engage in good-faith negotiations leading to an inclusive & just political settlement. As agreed, there is no military solution to the crisis.

Representatives & envoys of intel & regional countries & members of the Expanded Troika in their meetings in Doha made it clear that the Afghan issue has no military solution, they shall not recognise any regime taking over by force & insisted on the acceleration of peace talks.

Today Dr. Abdullah Abdullah, Chairman of HCNR, in Doha-Qatar, called for the extraordinary & immediate session of the UN Security Council to discuss the current developments in Afghanistan.
