As a Jew, I keep thinking that this horror is the evilest possible legacy of the Holocaust, that it could warp history in such a way that the descendants of those they tried to exterminate would themselves commit genocide. It’s so perverse it takes your breath away.

So much handwringing about Gen Z and if social media has rotted their brains, meanwhile students across the country are putting their academic careers on the line for Gaza are demonstrating more moral clarity on this issue than most of the our elected leaders. The kids are fine.

Wrapping up my first shift as an EJP faculty support for the Northwestern Gaza Solidarity encampment. An exciting day, and I’ve never felt more connected with my students. Heading home before my shift tomorrow, but first, let me share some things about the camp.
