Areas of fog, some locally dense will continue through mid-morning. Be prepared for sudden changes in visibility, especially in rural and low-lying areas.

After conducting a damage survey, we can confirm that a short-lived EF-1 tornado impacted the Rock Creek Subdivision in Trinity last night. The tornado destroyed a home, and also caused tree and vehicle damage. Two occupants of the home sustained injuries.

Here's the preliminary rainfall totals report over the past 24 hours. Widespread 3 to 7 inches of rain fell across the region. Highest rainfall totals (9 to 11+ inches) fell over the Piney Woods & Brazos Valley areas and near Mont Belvieu/Cove.
