Happy #OlderAmericansMonth ! So many of us are leading today thanks to the paths created by the trailblazers before us. It's an honor to still fight shoulder to shoulder with you today.
NCJW is grateful to Sen. Jeanne Shaheen, Sen. Tammy Baldwin, & Ann McLane Kuster for introducing the Mental Health & Making Access More Affordable (MAMA) Act, a bill to prioritize pregnant & postpartum people's mental health. A critical step forward this #MentalHealthMonth & year-round!
Congratulations to Courtney O’Donnell on her confirmation as US Permanent Representative to UNESCO 🏛️ #Education #Sciences #Culture 🇺🇳! We trust in her leadership as the United States re-establishes within UNESCO & in her efforts to combat worldwide rising antisemitism.
For today’s #AAPIHeritageMonth Spotlight with The LUNAR Collective, we are highlighting Davi Cheng!
Cheng is the Past President of Beth Chayim Chadashim, the world’s first LGBTQI synagogue & previously the Art Director for LUNAR: The Jewish-Asian Film Project.
It's been one year since Acting Secretary Julie Su was nominated as Secretary of Labor, her confirmation is long overdue. Su is a proven champion for women workers, unions, and fair workplaces.
It’s time Congress stands with working families and says #YesJulieSu .
NCJW is proud to support Courtney O’Donnell to serve as US Permanent Representative to UNESCO 🏛️ #Education #Sciences #Culture 🇺🇳! She is adept to fulfill UNESCO's mission & the priorities that impact Jews worldwide. We look forward to her confirmation vote & the leadership she’ll bring to this critical role.
Two years on from the horrific shooting that killed 10 Black people in Buffalo, communities across the country are still suffering from white supremacist hate and rampant gun violence every day. We must never stop fighting for a world without hate. #DisarmHate
NCJW continues to push back against hate. Last week, we signed The Leadership Conference's letter in support of the bipartisan Improving Reporting to Prevent Hate Act, a key step towards better hate crime reporting & safer communities.
