DEATHDREAM, Bob Clark's iconic horror film, gets a bells-and-whistles 4K Blu-ray upgrade from Blue Underground (Blue Underground). It's a must-own release of a quintessential example of a small production punching above its weight.

BLACK MASK is enjoyable fluff resurrected from the rental-store era for a substantial, and Region A-inaugural, Blu-ray release from Eureka (Eureka Entertainment).

In this month's CLASS OF ... essay, Nick Rogers (Love Theme from Kraven the Hunter) looks back at THE CROW — which in some moments feels like the *most* 1990s movie and in most others feels timeless.

The unconventional slasher method will undoubtedly be polarizing, even among horror die-hards.
For some, IN A VIOLENT NATURE may prove unwatchable. For others like Mitch Ringenberg (vulgar overlord), it's a strong contender for 2024’s best horror film.

FURIOSA is a decent 'Mad Max' film, filled with creative characters and some cool action bits. But while it can be applauded for not simply imitating 'Fury Road,' this prequel also doesn't exactly succeed at its own aims.

Glen Powell (Glen Powell) & Adria Arjona are dynamite in HIT MAN, reminding us that sometimes all a movie needs is two gorgeous people w/ fun personalities bantering back & forth over a conflict of their own making.

It's hard to rag too much on THE GARFIELD MOVIE, in theaters Thursday. Like Garfield, it's vaguely likable, inoffensive & moderately enjoyable. Here's the thing: It should've been a Heathcliff movie.
The review from Joe Shearer (Joe Shearer) is below:

Joe Carnahan didn't break new ground with NARC, but he administered a shot of adrenaline to the police procedural. Arrow Video (ArrowFilmsVideo) brings the 2002 film to a blisteringly good new 4K UHD Blu-ray.

Sam Watermeier calls Jane Schoenbrun's (Jane Schoenbrun) I SAW THE TV GLOW an empathetic exploration of identity and nostalgia, as well as 2024's best film so far.
Check out his review of the film, now in theaters, below!

Tinto Brass supposedly once said: 'Pornography is there to give you an erection. Erotica is there to give you emotions.' Cult Epics' (Cult Epics) new volume of his erotic epics is a mixed bag of quality w/ strong restorations.

Amid news releases of formerly hard-to-find films, it’s a pleasure that most are filled w/ extras by folks who once spent plenty of time watching them on bootlegs.
Evan reviews the new Neon Eagle (Neon Eagle Video) Blu-ray of ZERO WOMAN: RED HANDCUFFS.

There's no way to re-create the immersive theatrical experience of GRAVITY, but a newly reissued Blu-ray comes closest. It brings a long out-of-print Dolby Atmos track & extras into a more affordable orbit.
Nick Rogers (Love Theme from Kraven the Hunter) reviews the Blu:

ONCE UPON A TIME IN THE WEST is the film through which Evan Dossey reflects his thoughts on all other films—and maybe even life. There's never been a *bad* way to own it, but the new 4K UHD Blu-ray is as close to perfect as possible.
His review is below:

Although antiquated by today's standards of erotic excess, this Bettie Page double-feature from Kino Lorber (Kino Lorber) is sure to please nostalgic fans or simply those curious about Page's work.
