Year 2 had another fabulous computing lesson using Chrome music lab. This week they focused on tempo and notes. They also considered how their piece of music would make people feel when selecting the tempo and instruments. #llpscomputing

Lots of Year 2 children visited the reading shop on Friday for consistent reading at home. Well done, keep up the good work!

Year 6 are completing a SPaG hunt outside (in the sunshine!) to help prepare for our first test on Monday! ☀️📝

Year 2 had a very busy afternoon gardening. Their tasks included filling pots with compost, lots of planting including onions, carrots, runner beans as well as watering and finding sticks. We can't wait for next week!

Year 2 listened to The Planets~Neptune by Gustav Holst. They drew patterns, shapes and pictures that they thought represented the music. They then went on to Chrome music lab to experiment with pitch. #llpscomputing

Year 2 are using Primary Quiz to retrieve their Year 1 science learning about animals. We recapped animal groups and thought about the foods animals eat. We then went on to understand the basic survival needs of animals, including humans. 👍🏻

Two of our Y6 school councillors are doing a fantastic job delivering the Thomas Hussenet assemblies to the whole school. After a few weeks, they will help to train up our Y4 and Y5 school councillors. Well done! #llpspd
