The 'Panama Queen' is a rare type of #Aphelandra from, you guessed it, Panama!

Its fiery orange, pink flowers look like a Carnival headdress. Our Queen requires constant moisture and is watered daily in The Palm House.

The Passport to Lincoln Park program saw an awesome kickoff on Sunday, April 7 as we hosted renowned historian Julia Bachrach for a lecture on Lincoln Park Architecture & History. Around 45 Passport program participants were in attendance, along with 130 additional attendees.
