Thank you to all who attended our BEA Symposium on Friday to align and share best practices on intercultural competencies and English language learning opportunities for Iowa’s growing workforce.

There were many fantastic conversations between IBC member company representatives, BEA member institution representatives, and community program leaders. We look forward to seeing where these paths go from here.

It's official. Senate concurs with the House amendment. Work-based learning bill is done!

Great updates and $$$ to fund meaningful #workbasedleanring experiences for Iowa high school students. Critical tool to retain our population and increase our talent pipeline.

Really happy to see the IA House Appropriations Committee pass the #workbasedlearning bill.

This includes $30M for the Workforce Opportunity Fund, critical $$ the Iowa Business Council and others have long advocated for!
