Attempting to photograph some Whiskered terns (last 2 photos) at midday in intense light and heat, nearly gave up and the photos were truly awful but amongst them I discovered one which looks to be a #WhiteWingedBlackTern ! (first photo) #Camargue #France

A French family with 3 boys were playing in the salt marsh vegetation near where this Spectacled warbler appeared to be nesting. Mum was photographing boys playing so I told her about this rare bird. She was brilliant & told boys to move, no abuse or arguing, just pleased to know
