Now that spring is here, it's time to put bug spray and sunscreen back on your packing list for your Jamestown trip. Remember, Jamestown is primarily an outdoor experience and is right next to the Pitch & Tar Swamp, so it's important to protect yourself and your family.

#OTD in 1994, Bill Kelso opened the first unit for the Jamestown Rediscovery Project between the church tower and the James River. Within 3 seasons, they had uncovered enough evidence to prove the remains of James Fort existed on dry land. Learn more at historicjamestowne.org.
